Birth/acupressure comb
This wooden comb is a simple and effective tool for pain relief in labour using acupressure points. To use, grip the comb in your hand as shown in the pictures, placing the teeth of the comb where your fingers meet your palm and squeeze during contractions. This distracts you from contractions in labour and you then focus on the sensation on the hand, similar to the Pain Gate Control Theory.
